Okay, I know, it’s been a couple of months since my last post. I’ve been slack, yes I have, to the extent I could not remember what was username and password was. And I think it’s time for me to revive this blog a little, even though I’ve been keeping in touch with most of my friends through Facebook (and I’ve recently revived my twitter account as well). I wish there was some easy way to post on this blog, you know? Like how I can upload wall photos on Facebook via the iPhone, there should be some way to just upload a quick post with one or two pictures. And don’t tell me to download the WordPress app, it crashes every time I open it.
So, what has happened since my last post and now? Uhm, nothing massively different, I guess. The weather has gotten a heap colder, and there was one week where the temperature outside was 1 degree Celsius. I made Nathan buy me a heater so I wouldn’t freeze to death. It’s a little strange having the days so short now, as they get in winter. It starts to get dark around five in the evening and by six it’s pretty pitch black. I do have to say that my night vision is getting a whole lot better as well. I can walk outside and actually see the concrete slabs I’m walking on, as opposed to tripping over in the dark. The street lamps here aren’t exactly very bright, and there tend to be rather few of them.
My birthday happened as well, and I did consider blogging again then, and I got slack again. It wasn’t very eventful. I woke up, went for a jog, which is something I’m starting up again, since you know, I’ve kind of been really slack. That seems to be the theme of this blog today, doesn’t it? Oh well. I surfed the net for a little. Badgered Nathan to buy me muffins. Ate. Watched TV. Thought about cleaning the toilet because it’s pretty rank right now but didn’t because – you guessed it! I was slack. I think that pretty much summed up my whole day. What made me the happiest was that Nathan came home an hour early from his shift and I managed to spend the last half an hour of my birthday with him. ^__^
He, such a dear, also organised a little family gathering with his family for me. It was really nice to spend some time with Michael, Seg, BJ, John, Ben and Nan. I got a couple of cookbooks for my birthday! I think they are trying to tell me something, tee hee! I’m looking forward to spending more time with his family, they are all such wonderful people.
I’ve also started attending a course and it’s been really helping me in terms of my personal development! It’s a life coaching and mentoring course, and it has helped me open up a little bit to all my issues that I have. I’ve now noticed them, the next step is to work on them, and that is still a work in progress. I might post more on the course in future posts, when I’m in a proper state of mind.
Also, within the last couple of days, my housemates have gotten themselves a little bunny and guinea pig! They are so cute. I’ve never had either of them myself, and my close friends that I hang out with at their houses don’t have either as well (Mut – by the time you got your guinea pigs you were too far away for me to visit often). Now all we need is a dog, a cat, a horse and we’re set. Maybe a llama while we’re at it.
In other news: My iMac died and I’ve been living off Nathan’s laptop. And it got fixed today. Squee2 LIVES! I’m so happy with Applecare, they’ve been a wonderful help in all of this. It’s currently installing the operating system and applications for it. The silly thing is when it started to die I was panicking about it so much that I forgot to tell Apple that my LCD screen was fried as well, probably because the power supply was toasted. Now I’ll have to go ring them up again about it. I’ll probably do it some time or other after my visit to Singapore.
I’ve really been wanting to start up a little shop selling photography prints, however I find the quality of my work at the moment not up to standard just quite yet. It’s in the works, I promise. The moment I have enough variation of prints to do so, I will.
That’s all the update I have for now, I’ll definitely be posting more soon. Promise! Promise!
